Internet Society approved a new charter
On May 3-5, 2022, Internet Society Georgia conducted an electronic election to approve a charter. The charter was drawn up by the members of the society and presented for voting. 64% of the members (38 members) participated in the elections. The matter to be considered by the vote was whether the members supported the proposed charter. The results were defined as follows:
- Support – 97% (37 members)
- Do not support – 3% (1 member)
The submitted charter was approved according to the voting results.
In the nearest future, members plan to register the society as a legal entity based on the approved charter.
